Classes are conducted in a safe and supportive environment with the focus of the classes being on the importance of awareness and prevention, along with verbal, psychological and physical techniques you can use to defend yourself in various situations.
Self defence training will help you with everyday assertiveness and confidence as well as preparing you to fight back in physical attacks.
TYPES OF TRAINING
You can train by either personal training, small group sessions or regular classes.
It is not enough to take a class, read a book, or watch a video. You must practice. The classes offer that opportunity, but to effectively retain the learning, you must practice regularly to set them into your muscle memory.
Along with all of the self defence techniques and skill you will learn, womens only classes are a great opportunity to meet other people in your community.
